Last weekend we Joined the Australian Food and Wine Show. On the look out for Organics, we were most impressed by Temple Bruer Estate Organic, Preservative Free Wines.

We especially liked the Chardonnay Semillon & Pinot Noir.  We will consider importing these wines to Japan in 2016. Please contact us if you are interested in receiving samples of these wines.

For regular wine categories the standout for us was as follows:

Red, Tideway Shiraz, 2010 vintage, RockBare (McLaren Vale)

Tasting Note: A dense palate of dark blue and black berries o!er upfront suppleness that intertwine seamlessly with veins of dark chocolate and a textural earthiness.

White, Chardonnay, 2007 vintage Leeuwin (Margaret River)

Tasting Note: Light yellow; creamy nutty nougat and marzipan aromas; almondy - nice oak and barrel ferment characters. Hints of grapefruit as it aired. Palate has good weight and depth of flavor: savory and lots of surlie characters, while the palate is intense with good length. Real intensity here, and concentration. But also great harmony - nothing is out of place.
